Adapting your leadership style to the diversity of your team will help you reduce misunderstandings, arguments, frustration, turnover and confusion. Understanding and leveraging personal and cultural differences is a competitive advantage of successful organisations.

Hi, I am Heike, your Inclusive Leadership Expert.

Hello! I’m Heike, your Inclusive Leadership Expert and the proud founder of the Inclusive Leadership Alliance, a global network connecting leaders of diverse and international teams.

My journey in leadership spans more than 15 years across a variety of industries, where I’ve had the privilege of leading teams both small and large. This professional odyssey has unearthed my fervor for intercultural communication and the nuances of leadership styles dictated by cultural diversity. It also honed my ability to communicate with clarity and sensitivity.

This passion has now become my second career, empowering leaders and teams to bridge cultural gaps and improve their performance. I provide coaching and training to individuals and groups working in international settings, all with the common goal of enhancing collaboration across cultural boundaries. Together, we aim to cultivate a deep sense of belonging and minimise the unintentional breaches of values that can lead to frustration, disappointment, and distraction from our core objectives.
I firmly believe that cultural differences, when harnessed strategically, can drive personal, team, and organisational growth. Working with me will not only help you discover your passion and purpose but also unlock the full potential of your team. With a rich background as an expat and an expat partner for over 17 years, I’ve been through the various stages of expatriation many times. I understand the mixed emotions of excitement and isolation that can accompany such experiences. I’m familiar with the challenges of culture shock and have the know-how to overcome it. When our usual reference points fail us in a new cultural context, it is essential to rely on our inner compass. The more you understand it, the better it can guide you.

Currently living in Basel, Switzerland, I serve my global clients online and face to face. I bring to the table an array of qualifications, including being an ICA Certified Professional Coach (ICF accredited ACC), a certified intercultural Trainer (BAMIK), a Global DISC Licensed Practitioner, a Growth 2.0 Licensed Partner, a Certified Saville Wave / Saville Aptitude Practitioner and a proud member of FEW (For Empowering Women).

Inclusive Leadership Training

10 weeks of transformation

We will take a look at your leadership skills and on how you build a high-performing team based on trust with a healthy attitude to conflict where people are committed and hold each other accountable so you can drive your team to success and deliver measurable results.

You will gain clarity on your leadership personality, your values and your motivational drivers. And you will understand how to make everyone benefit from the cognitive diversity in your team.

Become an inclusive leader who adapts their leadership style to the diversity of their team and who encourages their people to be at their best.

The program consists of three 1:1 coaching sessions and 10 group training sessions. You will work with a buddy and be part of the Inclusive Leadership Alliance, a global network of leaders who support each other.

Understand the key factors of successfully working in a diverse team in a very practical approach.

How Do I Work

Using the hive mind to benefit from shared experience and knowledge

In addition to the experience and the knowledge I bring to the table, we will all benefit from the hive mind that a diverse group of leader creates. The structure of the course allows us to share, explore, and benefit from each participant’s knowledge and experience.

Online coaching

Over the course of the 10-week programme you will have three 1:1 coaching sessions with me to define your goals and track your progress.

Online training

Weekly group training sessions will provide you with all the relevant information and knowledge to build your personal toolbox to become a confident inclusive leader.

Worksheets

Worksheets provided between sessions to help you document your progress, reflect on your learning and challenge your beliefs.

At the heart of our Alliance is support and sharing with others. Our platform for developing and celebrating our successes will be a group of like-minded leaders from around the world.
